Radial shaft seals, or oil seals, are sealing elements that seal the medium from the inside on rotating machine parts (shafts) and prevent the ingress of contaminants from the atmospheric or external side. They are key components in rotary machines and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation, minimizing leakage and maintaining optimal lubrication conditions.
The proper selection of the appropriate radial shaft seal depends on operating parameters such as the medium, operating temperature, peripheral speed, working pressure, and external atmospheric influences.


We offer radial shaft seals made from standard materials such as NBR, FKM, and PTFE in the following designs: A/AS, B/BS, and C/CS according to DIN 3760.

• Type BABSL is designed for applications under elevated pressures.
• Type RADIAMATIC is a special group of oil seals where the outer casing is reinforced with technical fabric and can be supplied in a split variant.

There are also special types available, including those with a Teflon sealing lip and cartridge seals.
